Is public domain television downloading/sharing Legal or not?

CBS owns the rights to Miami CSI and it is definitely NOT public domain. It won't be public domain for many, many more years.Cable is not public. You pay for the service, right?

Anibal Katayama: Virtually no TV show is in the public domain and certainly not CSI: Miami. Just because they didn't charge you to watch it on a network doesn't mean it is free. It is paid for by advertisements.You are in clear violation of copyright laws.
