Rickey Vrieze: Why do you need a finance degree to go into the army? I mean I guess they obviously have a financial side but they outsource those jobs to civilian firms. Thats besides the point, anyways...As far as teaching math later in life, a degree in finance would be sufficient for the elementary - high school levels. Plus you're looking to do that a long ways down the line, you could always just go back to school a few nights a week later on to get that math degree if you feel its necessary.I honestly don't think you would need a degree in math education if you had a degree in finance just to teach k-12. Finance is viewed as a math heavy! major already. Its just applied math instead of random theoretical stuff....Show more
