Arlen Hamper: It really depends on what you want to do in the fashion business (stylist, buyer, journalist, whatever), but the key to getting by in the fashion business, as in many businesses, is to know the right people and get your name and ideas out there. Start up a blog, go to a major fashion school, try to get an internship with a designer or fashion-related company, anything to get your foot in the door. Hope that helps!
Trena Berum: You could check with your local college or university and see what kind of options you have. There are several different categories in fashion, such as, modeling, designing, sewing, buying/selling, being an agent,owning your own agency, etc. Schools are the best place to check it out - you might find something you like.
